Teaching schools give outstanding schools a leading role in the training and professional development of teachers, support staff and headteachers, as well as contributing to the raising of standards through school-to-school support.” Department for Education
The Landmark School Alliance is a group of schools and other strategic partners led by St Bede’s Primary Catholic Voluntary Academy which was designated as a teaching school in 2014. The alliance was formed to deliver high quality training and professional development for teachers and leaders at all stages of their career.
The strategic partners are four primary schools: Westgarth, Wheatlands, The Lakes and Ings Farm.
We have a history of working collaboratively within a cluster of schools as well as through many partnership projects, therefore forming the Landmark Teaching School Alliance was a natural next step for the group.
We are now recruiting for a Teaching Schools Manager.
